3. Cookies, Analytics and Advertising Technologies
Vessimora.com may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, understand website performance, prevent fraud, analyze customer interactions, and, where permitted, support advertising and marketing.
These technologies may include:
Essential technologies necessary for core website functionality, security, checkout, shopping-cart functionality, authentication, and fraud prevention.
Analytics technologies that help us understand website traffic, customer interactions, and website performance.
Advertising and marketing technologies that may help us measure advertising performance, understand customer engagement, or provide advertising based on interactions with our website where permitted by applicable law.
Our store is hosted on Shopify, and Shopify may process information relating to visitors and customers in connection with providing its ecommerce platform and related services to us.
Depending on your location and the privacy settings implemented on our website, you may have options to accept or reject certain non-essential cookies or modify your privacy preferences.
Where required, Vessimora will provide appropriate mechanisms for customers to exercise applicable privacy choices concerning targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of personal information.
Shopify itself provides merchants with customer-privacy functionality including cookie consent controls and data-sharing opt-out mechanisms, and states that privacy settings should accurately reflect the merchant's actual applications and data practices.
4. How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information when reasonably necessary to operate Vessimora and provide our services.
Depending on the services actually used by our store, recipients may include:
Shopify and ecommerce infrastructure providers that host or support our online store and ecommerce functionality.
Payment processors and financial service providers that process payments, refunds, transactions, fraud checks, or related financial services.
Shipping, logistics, fulfillment, and delivery providers that require relevant information to fulfill and deliver orders or process delivery-related claims.
Technology, hosting, security, and fraud-prevention providers that support our website, systems, cybersecurity, and transaction security.
Analytics and advertising service providers where we use their services and where such processing is permitted under applicable law and your applicable privacy choices.
Professional advisers and service providers, such as accounting, legal, compliance, or other business-support providers, where reasonably necessary.
Government authorities, regulators, courts, law enforcement, or other parties when disclosure is required by applicable law, legal process, regulatory obligation, or reasonably necessary to protect our rights, customers, business, or others.
We may also disclose relevant information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable legal requirements.
We do not authorize service providers to use personal information for purposes unrelated to the services they provide to us except where separately permitted by applicable law.
Because Shopify hosts our store, information may also be processed by Shopify and its relevant service providers. Shopify currently advises merchants that their privacy policies should explain Shopify's processing and applicable international data sharing when relevant to their configuration.
5. Data Retention, Security and International Processing
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including providing products and services, maintaining transaction and customer-service records, processing returns and refunds, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and satisfying legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
Different categories of personal information may therefore be retained for different periods.
When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with applicable requirements and our operational practices.
We use reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Because we operate an international ecommerce business and use third-party service providers, personal information may be processed in countries or regions other than the location where it was originally collected. Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards will be used in connection with international transfers.
Shopify likewise explains that ecommerce data can involve international processing and that applicable privacy requirements may require safeguards for cross-border transfers.
6. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you reside and subject to applicable law and exceptions, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, which may include the right to:
- request access to personal information we maintain about you;
- request information regarding how we collect, use, or disclose your personal information;
- request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- request deletion of certain personal information;
- request a portable copy of certain personal information;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- opt out of certain marketing communications;
- object to or restrict certain processing where applicable; and
- opt out of certain sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising activities where applicable law provides such rights.
You may unsubscribe from promotional email communications by using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in those communications, where available. Transactional or service-related communications concerning an order, return, refund, security issue, or customer-service request may still be sent where necessary.
Where applicable, browser-based privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) may also be recognized in accordance with applicable law and our website configuration.
We may need to verify your identity before completing certain privacy requests. We may also request information reasonably necessary to locate the relevant records and protect customers against fraudulent privacy requests.
Where applicable law permits an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, we may require appropriate verification of the agent's authority.
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights available under applicable law.
Privacy requests concerning information controlled by Vessimora may be submitted to service@Vessimora.com.
7. Orders, Returns, Damaged Items and Related Information
Personal information collected in connection with orders, deliveries, returns, damaged-product claims, replacements, and refunds is used to verify purchases, investigate claims, communicate with customers, prevent fraud, arrange logistics, and process applicable remedies.
To keep this Privacy Notice consistent with our other store policies:
Vessimora provides a 180-day return period beginning on the date the applicable item is delivered to the customer.
Eligible standard returns generally require the product to be returned within the applicable 180-day period, in substantially the same condition in which it was received, with applicable parts and accessories, and with reasonable proof of purchase.
If an item arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or materially different from the item ordered, customers should contact service@Vessimora.com and may be asked to provide the order number, photographs of the product, packaging, shipping label, and other information reasonably necessary to investigate the claim.
Any personal information, photographs, or supporting materials submitted in connection with such a claim will be used for purposes such as verifying the claim, communicating with the customer, coordinating with fulfillment or logistics providers, preventing fraud, and determining an appropriate resolution.
After an authorized return is received and inspected, an approved refund will generally be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after refund approval. Financial institutions or payment providers may require additional time to post the refund.
Customers must contact us before returning merchandise to obtain the applicable return instructions. The designated return location may differ from our registered business address.
Complete return eligibility requirements, exclusions, return-shipping arrangements, and refund procedures are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.
